The instant gratification of our smart phone world has hit my high school students pretty hard. Hearing from some of my students this year, I realized that it’s becoming more and more common to quickly type up an assignment without reading the directions, and to turn it in without any attempts at proof-reading or revision. They crossed their fingers that I either wouldn’t read their work or wouldn’t notice that it meets none of the criteria. Sorry, kiddos, that isn’t going to happen anytime soon; despite the leftover remnants of chemo brain, I’m surprisingly sharp. 😉 This video is about how to avoid my students’ faux paus in any aspect of life.
