Spying storms from the front step–
the unspooling of clouds for earth’s drapes,
amid thunder’s distant grumbling.
Lightning tangos on a navy-gray stage.
Wind twists hair into my face,
tracing my ears and lips,
snaking smoothly through my veins,
testing my fortitude in its space.
This is pleasant writing, did you take the picture?

Thank you. Yes, most of the photos on the blog are my own, with the exception of my most recent post and a couple family photos.
